PREFACE
This book, which is headed with the name of Baruch, is not contained in the Hebrew canon, but only in the Vulgate edition [nt: The Vulgate edition, of which mention is made in the prologue upon Baruch, is expounded in the prologue upon Ezechiel. The rest are plain.], and likewise the epistle of Jeremiah. But for the [0064] knowledge of readers they have been written here, because they indicate many things concerning Christ and the last times.
